I'm a former Social Security Disability Claims Examiner, and a former medicaid caseworker. In 2003, I started a site about the Social Security Disability system to answer questions that people with disabilities have about applying for disability benefits but can never seem to get straightforward plain-english answers to (www.disabilitysecrets.com). In 2005, I realized that blogging allows you to share information a lot more easily and I started "My Disability Blog" where I answer questions regarding how the disability system works and I also track changes to the two federal disability programs, SSD and SSI.
By the way, my stumbleupon screen name was supposed to be a shortened version of "My Life" but...because it sounds like "another phrase", I could kick myself for choosing it
